Sterling Shark Teeth earrings

These sterling hoop earrings with shark teeth drops are approx 1.25” and make from cast of sharks teeth found in Wilcox Alabama. 

It has always amazed me, that all my life in the middle of our land I could find Sharks teeth and fossilized shells.

This part of Alabama was a high warm ocean and bog.  home to creatures such a sharks, water lizards.  This period is known as the Cretaceous period. Around 100 million years ago.

When Fred my Tahitian pearl guy/ jewelry designer friend was visiting from Thahiti he was so taken back with them he decided to cast some unbelievably cool jewelry peices out of them in Sterling Silver and 14k yellow gold. So happy to be able to share these with yall
